About me

Welcome! My passion for animals reaches back to my high school years, it seems like forever ago. I started studying Culinary Arts when I was 17, and while doing so I worked part-time at a vet clinic doing whatever odd jobs I could. After a couple of years, I started to realize that I understood animals more than humans! It seemed such a natural fit for me so I followed my heart and left the food world behind.

While working at the vet clinic I began volunteering at the Buffalo SPCA walking dogs and playing with cats. After several months I was hired as an assistant in the shelter behavior dept and my love for animals deepened. After 4 years I excitingly became the head of the department. Sadly, a short year later the humane society dissolved the department due to funding. Now, able to focus my career in veterinary medicine I began assisting the doctors and eventually moved up the ladder to become the head of the Intensive Care Unit in one of Charlotte’s largest animal hospitals. The skills I have learned, and my understanding of animals have enabled me to set off on this journey with you, helping your pet in the comfort of their own home.

I share my world with my amazing spouse Steve and our two dogs, Jack and Pickles. When I am not doing something animal related..wait that doesn’t happen.

Reach out to me today, I love meeting new fuzzy faces!
